Nita Diem of Frost Mortgage received the Certified Mortgage Banker distinction.

Nita Diem of Frost Mortgage has received her Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) diploma (shown here).

Diem was one of 38 people to graduate nationally with her CMB from CampusMBA, the award-winning education division of the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA), at a ceremony held at MBA’s 97th Annual Convention & Expo in Atlanta.

As the MBA explains:

CMB candidates must acquire 150 points earned through a combination of professional experience, secondary education, continuing education through MBA-sponsored events and CampusMBA courses, as well as participation in MBA at the local, state and/or national level. After accumulating the required points and passing a comprehensive written exam, candidates must demonstrate industry knowledge by passing an oral exam conducted by a panel of CMBs.

“The CMB program is the foundation of excellence within our industry.  It symbolizes respect, credibility, ethics, and achievement within real estate finance,” said Paul Green, MBA’s Senior Vice President of Corporate Relations, Education and Business Development. “I want to personally commend the 38 CMBs for realizing the importance of professional education within their careers.  Together we are truly setting the bar for excellence in our industry, something of which we at MBA are immensely proud of.”

Diem is one of only a handful of people in New Mexico to hold CMB status and is the first woman in the state to do so. We at Frost Mortgage congratulate her on her accomplishment and for embodying our commitment to excellence. Please join us!

Frost Mortgage loan officer earns national industry title

Please join us in congratulating Nita Diem, a loan officer with Frost Mortgage Banking Group, on earning the Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) designation from the Mortgage Bankers Association. Nita is one of only a handful of people in the state to have earned this prestigious title and is the first woman in New Mexico to hold it. She was recognized yesterday in the Albuquerque Journal Business Outlook.
